Prince George’s County Police Homicide Unit detectives have charged two suspects in relation to a double fatal shooting in Oxon Hill in October. The suspects have been identified as 31-year-old Charles Washington Jr. and 32-year-old Antonio Jackson of Washington DC. They are being charged in the slayings of 41-year-old Derrick Graham and 32-year-old DeAngelo Moore.

Shortly before midnight on October 3, 2023, officers responded to a shooting in the 800 block of Irvington Street. Upon arrival, officers located two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. Authorities say Graham passed away at the hospital a short time later while Moore died of his injuries two days later.

Detectives explain that the preliminary investigation indicated that Washington, Jackson, and DeAngelo Moore were trying to rob Graham at gunpoint when the shooting happened. During the robbery attempt, Moore and Graham were shot. Authorities say Graham did not have a weapon. The suspects were not known to the victim.

Charles Washington Jr. has been charged with first and second degree murder as well as related charges. Antonio Jackson is charged with second degree murder. The suspects are in custody in Washington DC awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County.
