The Norwalk Police Department responded to a swatting call earlier today. NPD reports that it received a 911 call about an individual with a firearm threatening to shoot family members at a Milan Avenue residence.

Officers responded to the scene and made contact with the home’s occupants. It was quickly determined that there was no domestic incident. NPD believes that the call was a “swatting” incident.

A suspect has been identified, according to the Norwalk Police Department. No other details are being provided about the suspect at this time.
