The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 17-year-old in connection to a death investigation on Holland Drive. BCSO reports that the incident occurred at a residence in the 2400 block of Holland Drive around 10:18 a.m. on August 1, 2024.

At the scene, deputies found 20-year-old Gabreon Tyrese Harrison suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local medical facility where he succumbed to his injuries.

On August 6, 2024, BCSO announced an arrest in the case. BCSO says 17-year-old Cris Yair Blanco contacted investigators about surrendering to deputies. Blanco met investigators at the Investigations Office and turned himself in.

He was interviewed before being transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. At this time, Blanco is charged with Murder and is being held without bond.
