Grand jury indictments were filed today for two Naples men and an Immokalee man for multiple child sex crimes.
Cristian Cruz Lopez, 27, and Randy Eugene Schoolcraft, 43, both of Naples, and Pedro Lucas Escalante Morales, 27, of Immokalee were charged with lewd or Lascivious molestation (life felony), capital sexual battery of a child less than 12 years of age (capital felony), and lewd or lascivious battery (second-degree felony).
The indictment against Lopez says the alleged assault occurred on separate occasions between March 26, 2014, and March 25, 2017, in Collier County, Florida. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Lopez in 2021 after the minor victim under the age of 12 reported the crimes.
The indictment against Morales says the alleged assault occurred on separate occasions between August 14, 2020, and August 13, 2022. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office arrested Morales in September 2023.
The indictment against Schoolcraft says the alleged assault occurred on separate occasions between August 1, 2018, and October 12, 2022, in Collier County. The victim under the age of 12 wrote “help” on a school bathroom wall. An investigation conducted by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office revealed Schoolcraft was in possession of child pornography.
Schoolcraft was also indicted for promoting a sexual performance by a child (first-degree felony) and 100 counts of child pornography (second-degree felony).
