A Southeast DC woman was charged in connection with the fatal stabbing on December 5, 2023, in the 900 block of 5^th Street. Linda Archie, 60 of Southeast, DC has been charged with assault with intent to kill, which is expected to be upgraded at a later date.

Metropolitan Police Department was dispatched to the area above around 3:45 p.m. to investigate a call in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim suffering from stab wounds.

The victim was pronounced deceased on December 9, 2023, by hospital staff.

Linda Archie was arrested on December 9, 2023.
