The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a 35-year-old woman for felony assault in a child abuse incident that allegedly occurred at her Pueblo West residence. Deputies responded to the residence on Wednesday afternoon for a report of possible child abuse.
At the scene, deputies saw a five-year-old child in the care of Susan Davidson. The child was transported to an area hospital for treatment and released to a parent. Deputies questioned Davidson and other children in the residence.
PCSO says Davidson was arrested for second-degree assault and child abuse. She is being held in the Pueblo County Jail. The other children in the residence were unharmed. No other details are available at this time.
