Alexandria Police have arrested a suspect in connection to an attempted abduction at the Holmes Run Dog Park. APD says 21-year-old Rohid Hakimi was charged with Attempted Abduction with Intent to Defile and Sexual Battery.

Around 6 p.m. on October 29, 2024, the victim was grabbed from behind. The victim fought off the attacker who fled from the scene. Hakimi was arrested on November 14, 2024. Police say Hakimi is a non-city resident.
