19-year-old man fatally shot on Grant Place in Albany Georgia

Update – Albany Police are searching for a person of interest in the fatal shooting on Grant Place early Friday. APD reports that the victim in the case was 19-year-old Aaron White who passed away at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

APD is currently searching for 19-year-old Trinity Jenkins who is considered a person of interest in the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact APD at 229-302-0793 or Crime Stoppers at 229-436-TIPS.

 

Original – A 19-year-old man is dead after being shot on Grant Place in Albany, Georgia. The Albany Police Department is currently investigating the fatal shooting. APD reports that it is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 300 block of Grant Place around 12:50 a.m. on August 9, 2024.

APD confirms that a 19-year-old male victim was shot and pronounced deceased at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The investigation is ongoing. No other details are available at this time.
