A 16-year-old was shot at a classic car show in Gresham, Oregon. The Gresham Police Department is currently investigating the shooting. GPD reports that dispatch received multiple 911 calls about a shooting in the parking lot in the 1800 block of Northwest Fairview Drive around 3:15 p.m. on May 25.
At the scene, officers found a juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers applied a tourniquet until paramedics arrived and transported the victim to an area hospital. GPD says the victim is expected to survive.
GPD is working to determine what led up to the shooting and identify the involved parties. No other details are available at this time.
