The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office has announced an arrest following threats toward Strathmore Middle School. TCSO reports that a 13-year-old was arrested in the case.

Around 6:45 p.m., deputies responded to the middle school for a report of a 13-year-old who allegedly posted a picture with a gun on social media and threatened the school.

TCSO says the 13-year-old is in custody and will be booked into the juvenile detention facility. Anyone with information should contact the sheriff’s office at 559-733-6218.
