The Visalia Police Department reports that it is investigating a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Thursday night. VPD says its officers responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision just before 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Authorities say that officers reached the scene and learned that an adult rollerblader had been hit. VPD is asking everyone to avoid the area at this time. Police say westbound Walnut Avenue at County Center is closed to traffic.
