Tulsa County, Oklahoma – The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office says it is currently on the scene of a homicide. According to a TCSO statement, a woman called 911 to say her boyfriend had been shot just before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Deputies found the victim’s body inside a barn in the 1600 block of 66th Street North. TCSO says the male suspect had already fled the scene, but he was found hiding in the brush a few hundred yards from the scene.
TCSO says 66th Street North between Utica and Victor Avenue will be closed as detectives investigate the fatal shooting.
Update – TCSO has announced the arrest of 24-year-old Devin L. Grimes in connection to this homicide. Authorities say Grimes will be booked into the Tulsa County Jail for Murder, Robbery with a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm, Obstruction, and Knowingly Concealing Stolen Property.
