A man has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of Ruben Trevino. The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies responded to the 12400 block of Avenue 413 in Orosi for a report of a shooting victim around 10:15 p.m. on December 9, 2023.

At the scene, responding deputies found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Ruben Trevino was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. TCSO Homicide Detectives say they identified the murder suspect as Alejandro Moreno.

Around 11:30 a.m. on May 15, 2024, CATTCH Unit detectives apprehended Moreno who was hiding with family in Orosi. Moreno was taken into custody without incident. His wife, Martha Miranda, was arrested for harboring a wanted suspect.

Both were booked into the Tulare County Jail.
