According to a press release from the Prince George’s County Police, Homicide Unit detectives have identified and arrested three suspects in relation to a recent homicide in Landover Hills. Detectives say the suspects are 47-year-old Eris Lopez, 20-year-old Omar Valdez Granados, and 20-year-old German Escobar Hernandez. All suspects are from Lanham.
The suspects are charged in the slaying of 45-year-old Frederico Cruz Ojeda of Landover Hills. Officers responded to a shooting in the 7100 block of Webster Street on November 23 around 7:15 PM, according to police. Officers located a victim with gunshot wounds at the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital where he later passed away.
Detectives say the preliminary investigation suggests the suspects shot the victim during a dispute and they were known to each other.
