Paul Shepherd was working as a taxi driver for Absolutely Taxi and Transportation in Knoxville in June of 2014. On the 29th, he would be shot around Sims Road and Cook Drive. After being transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Paul would pass away a short time later.
To date, the crime remains unsolved. The shooting took place in broad daylight and witnesses were able to give detectives descriptions of two possible suspects. Investigators believe that robbery was the motive and the killer or killers may have lived nearby.
