Daryl Holton would become one of the most hated killers in Tennessee. After confessing to the murders of four children, he would be sentenced to die in Tennessee’s electric chair. Many wanted the convicted murderer to be put to death and he was eager for the same. Holton would take steps to expedite his own execution. Some believed that this was the best possible outcome but others suggested that Daryl Holton was mentally ill and should not be put to death.
In the end, Daryl Holton’s wish would be granted. Was justice finally served? Or, had a callous killer found a way to escape Tennessee’s death row?
