Sumner County, Tennessee – The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of Tracy Lee Crews of Portland, Tennessee. According to a SCSO statement, Crews is charged with two counts of Exploitation of a Minor by Electronic Means, Possession of a Schedule Two Narcotic, and Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Facility.

SCSO says a parent reported a concern to the administration at J.W. Wiseman Elementary School in Portland that a custodian at the school provided her daughter with a cell phone on December 17, 2024.

The incident was turned over to SCSO’s SRO Special Investigations Unit. Authorities allege that Crews provided the student will a cell phone in an attempt to solicit photos, images, or videos of the student for sexual gratification.
