The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office said in a social media statement that its SWAT Team is currently on the scene of a barricaded suspect situation.
According to SCPSO, the incident is happening on Shadow Lane in Destrehan. Authorities allege that the suspect threatened others and family members.
The suspect is reportedly armed and alone in the residence. SCPSO asks everyone to avoid the area.
