Gold Bar, Washington – The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a shooting in Gold Bar. SCSO reports that East County deputies responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Croft Avenue in Gold Bar around 1:40 a.m. on December 25.
Authorities say a 58-year-old male suspect shot a 48-year-old male during a verbal argument before fleeing from the scene.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that it believed this was an isolated incident between two acquaintances.
The suspect is not in custody at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 425-388-3845.
