Stanton, California – The Orange County Sheriff’s Department reports that a man is dead following a fatal shooting on Friday evening. According to an OCSD press release, deputies responded to the area of Orangewood Avenue and Court Street for reports of a shooting around 4:19 p.m. on December 20.

Authorities say one adult male was found inside a vehicle on Court Street. The victim, 18-year-old Jonathan Alexis Jimenez, was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Another man was located in the same vehicle suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. OCSD says multiple subjects were detained at the scene.
