The Saint Paul Police Department says its officers were involved in a shooting just after 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Police say the incident happened near the intersection of Bay Street and Watson Avenue.

Although details are limited at this time, SPPD confirmed that one person passed away. Police also said that no officers were injured during the incident. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension will investigate the shooting.
