Sacramento County, California – The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of 28-year-old Edwin Valdez. SCSO says the victim reported that Valdez had sexually assaulted her multiple times when she was a minor.

Valdez was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on two counts of Penetration with a Foreign Object on a Victim who is Under 18 Years of Age, four counts of Oral Copulation with a Person who is Under 18 Years of Age, two counts of Communicating with a Minor with the Intent to Commit a Sex Offense, and two counts of Contacting a Minor with the Intent to Commit Other Sexual Offenses.

SCSO says he is currently being held on $500,000 bail and will appear in court on January 16.
