Sacramento, California – Sacramento authorities have arrested a 21-year-old man who allegedly attempted to rob a taco stand at gunpoint.
The Sacramento Sheriff said in a statement that 21-year-old Brandon McGrath tried to rob the stand near Fruitridge Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard around 9:30 p.m. yesterday.
Police say the employees fought back, wrestled McGrath to the ground, and knocked the gun away. McGrath was held on the ground until Sacramento Police and Sacramento deputies reached the scene.
Deputies reportedly recovered an unserialized Polymer-styled manufactured handgun. No one was injured during the incident.
McGrath was booked into the Main Jail and is being held on $260,000 bail.
