The Richmond Police Department is investigating a shooting on North C Street. According to a Richmond Police Department social media post, third-shift patrol officers responded to the 900 block of North C Street in Richmond on November 11 just after 11 PM to investigate a call of a shooting. The victim, 24-year-old Laquent Hogg, was transported to the hospital by an acquaintance.
Hogg sustained a gunshot wound that is not believed to be life-threatening. When officers reached the scene, they located several bullet casings and a white car that had been struck by gunfire. Investigators were called to process the scene and interview witnesses. At this time, no arrests have been made.
