The Pittsburgh Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting on Monday night. Just before 11 p.m., a 21-year-old male victim was taken to an area hospital by private vehicle. The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

A short time later, the victim was pronounced deceased. The Pittsburgh Public Safety Department reports that officers found a crime scene in the 100 block of Meadow Street in Larimer after receiving a Shot Spotter notification.

No one is in custody at this time. PPSD says police will obtain a search warrant for the public at the hospital.
