Oceanside, California – The Oceanside Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in connection to the fatal shooting of 34-year-old Justin Bazan on January 12, 2025. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
OPD detectives arrested 51-year-old Pele Fuifui for the murder on January 16, 2025. Fuifui was taken into custody in Placentia and booked into the Vista Detention Facility.
Authorities believe the shooting stemmed from a road rage confrontation. No other details are available at this time.
