Update – OCSO confirms the suspect was taken into custody. OCSO says the door was breached and the suspect was taken into custody with no injuries.

Original – The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is currently dealing with a barricaded gunman situation. According to OCSO, the incident is happening in the area of 14 mile and Middlebelt in the subdivision to the southeast of the intersection.

OCSO confirms that shots have been fired. Farmington Hills Police and OCSO’s SWAT Team are engaged in the area. Locals are asked to stay away from the area at this time.
