The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office announced that it is currently investigating an armed robbery at Tommy’s Grocery in the 2300 block of LA Highway 494 South.

NPSO Sheriff Stuart Wright said the NATCOM 911 Center received a report of the store being robbed by two unknown suspects armed with a handgun around 7:06 p.m.

Sheriff Wright reports that the suspects fled the scene shortly after the robbery. It is unknown if the suspects fled on foot or in a vehicle.

Detectives are at the scene interviewing the victim and processing the crime scene. Authorities confirm that no injuries were reported. No other details are available at this time.
