The Murray Police Department announced an arrest in connection to a stabbing incident on December 5. MPD reports that its officers responded to a residence on the north side of the city for a person being stabbed around 10:36 a.m. on December 5.
MPD says officers reached the scene and found a victim who appeared to have suffered stab wounds. Authorities say 31-year-old Crimson Jackson of Murray, Kentucky was detained.
Crimson is accused of going into the victim’s house without her knowledge and trying to kill her by stabbing and strangling her. MPD says Jackson also obtained money from the victim.
Crimson Jackson was booked into the Calloway County Jail for charges of Attempted Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, Strangulation 1st Degree, and Burglary 1st Degree.
