According to a social media post from the Murfreesboro Police Department, a man was assaulted and stabbed in the parking lot of Kelton Hardware on Friday. MPD is investigating the attack which happened around 5:12 PM on November 24 in the parking lot of Kelton Hardware on Old Fort Parkway. Police say the victim was beaten and stabbed multiple times by three suspects.

The victim was able to crawl to the door of the business before employees called 911. The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office K9 and Drone Team responded and helped with the search. Authorities say one of the attackers was wearing all black clothing. Another was in a white hoodie and the third had a black sports jacket with white sleeves. The suspects were last seen fleeing toward the Mapco on Old Fort.
