The Merrick County Sheriff’s Office says it has arrested a suspect for alleged child abuse of a two-year-old child.

According to MCSO, 24-year-old Rylee R. Knop was taken into custody on charges of Child Abuse and Possession of Marijuana Less Than 1 Ounce.

Authorities say the preliminary investigation found that a two-year-old juvenile was the victim of child abuse. No other details are available at this time.
