Lucas Clayton arrested for felony property damage after allegedly destroying Christmas decorations at House Springs Park

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in Missouri announced that a House Springs man had been charged with felony property damage after allegedly destroying Christmas decorations. According to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office, 37-year-old Lucas Clayton has been charged with Property Damage 1st Degree.

He is accused of ruining the light display at House Springs Park. A Road Patrol Deputy began investigating on December 13, 2023 before the case was handed over to the Detective Bureau. A deputy arrested Clayton on December 17, 2023. Authorities say the charge was issued today after Clayton was interviewed by a detective.

Clayton was booked into the Jefferson County Jail on a $10,000 surety bond.
