Madison Parish, Louisiana – The Louisiana State Police have announced the arrest of a Mississippi man in connection to the murder of 35-year-old Brittany Mays.

According to LSP, Detectives with the Monroe Field Office continued the investigation into the January 9 homicide in the 500 block of Byson Road.

LSP MFO obtained an arrest warrant for 36-year-old Nathan Kirkley of Vicksburg, Mississippi for second-degree murder. Authorities confirm Kirkley was arrested without incident and booked into the Madison Parish Detention Center.

Authorities have not said anything about the relationship between the victim and suspect.
