Little Rock, Arkansas – The Little Rock Police Department says its officers were involved in an officer-involved shooting on January 1, 2025.

According to LRPD, officers responded to a call for service at 2104 South Street around 8:24 p.m. At the scene, officers reportedly found a deceased adult female.

LRPD says another set of officers found an individual covered in blood in the 1600 block of Broadway. The individual allegedly disregarded officer commands and advanced toward them with a weapon in hand.

LRPD says shots were fired and the suspect succumbed to their injuries at the scene. No other details are being provided at this time.
