The Hazard Police Department is currently searching for a vehicle in connection to a shooting on Saturday. HPD is asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect involved. HPD says it is looking for a bluish-green 2011 Ford Flex with a silver roof.

The vehicle reportedly has a yellow sunflower sticker on the rear windshield and possibly a rainbow sticker on the rear of the vehicle. The shooting occurred in Perry County on September 7, 2024.

At this time, police are considering the suspect armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call Perry County 911 or HPD at 606-436-2222.
