According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, four people have been arrested in connection to a 2022 homicide in Seffner. Deputies responded to the 4000 block of Brower Drive on November 11, 2022. At the scene, deputies located a juvenile victim who had been shot. The victim later succumbed to their injuries. Following a lengthy investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for four individuals.
19-year-old Shaine Garcia, 19-year-old Christopher Cobbs, and 19-year-old Zackaryah Shilts have been charged with First Degree Felony Murder While Engaged in Robbery. 19-year-old Hailey Quintal has been charged with Accessory After the Fact and Perjury, according to a press release from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
“This case is a testament to the fact that, even after a year, our detectives were able to solve this case with persistence, tenacity, and a yearning for justice,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “The four responsible for this gruesome murder will now be held accountable for their terrible actions.”
