Riverside County, California – The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office reports that a former employee is in custody after allegedly stalking a female victim.

According to RCSO, the Hemet Station received information that a female adult had been stalked by a suspect on November 27, 2024.

RCSO says the Special Victims Unit assumed the investigation because the suspect, Alexander Vanny, was previously employed and terminated by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office for allegations of sexual assault.

The Special Victims Unit allegedly found evidence that Vanny had committed additional felony offenses. Vanny was taken into custody on December 19 and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for Kidnapping, Stalking, and other felony charges.
