Danville Police looking for suspect in homicide at Ten 10 Restaurant and Lounge

Update – DPD reports that 28-year-old Khaleel Latwain Rodgers Jr. has turned himself into police. Rodgers was booked into the Danville City Jail with no bond.

He is charged with Second Degree Murder, Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and Reckless Handling of a Firearm. The charges stem from a fatal shooting at Ten 10 Restaurant and Lounge on Saturday morning.

Original – The Danville Police Department is currently looking for 28-year-old Khaleel Latwain Rodgers Jr. who is wanted on charges of Second Degree Murder, Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and Reckless Handling of a Firearm.

DPD reports that the suspect is wanted in connection to a homicide in the 1000 block of Piney Forest Road at Ten 10 Restaurant and Lounge on Saturday morning. Around 2:39 a.m., police responded to the scene where they found 33-year-old Damion Quayshaud Reed suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.

Police say the victim passed away after being transported from the scene. A 50-year-old security guard suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. A 37-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the arm.
