According to a press release, detectives with the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District announced a suspect had been arrested in relation to an armed carjacking on Friday, November 24. Detectives say the suspect approached a victim just before 8:30 PM in the 400 block of H Street NE.
The suspect allegedly brandished a handgun and took the victim’s moped before fleeing the scene. Authorities learned that the moped had GPS tracking capabilities. As a result, responding officers were able to track the moped’s location where they reportedly found the suspect pushing it down the street.
Police arrested 25-year-old Damion Bullock, of Southeast DC. Bullock is charged with Armed Carjacking (Gun) and Carrying a Pistol Without a License.
