The Columbus Police Department has arrested Emilio Manrique-Camoran for Murder and Possession of VGCSA Schedule II Drug (Methamphetamine). CPD reports that its officers received a 911 call about a shooting in the 4600 block of Holly Avenue around 7:43 p.m. on September 8, 2024.

At the scene, responding officers found a Hispanic male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased by Coroner Buddy Bryan around 8:15 p.m. CPD’s Violent Crimes Unit responded to assume control of the investigation.

Detectives say the preliminary investigation determined that Manrique-Camoran was the suspect in the case.
