Chesapeake Police investigating two separate shootings of juveniles on Saturday night

The Chesapeake Police Department is investigating two shootings that occurred on Saturday night. According to CPD, the first shooting occurred around 8 p.m. on November 30, 2024.

CPD says its officers responded to the area of Holly Cove Drive and Schooner Trail in reference to gunshots heard and someone possibly shot.

Officers arrived at the scene and confirmed that someone was shot in the alley of the 4100 block of Schooner Trailer, according to CPD. Police say the victim left the scene and arrived at an area hospital a short time later.

CPD says a juvenile male suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The second shooting occurred around 9:13 p.m. on November 30. CPD says its officers responded to the 2400 block of Taylor Road in reference to a call that someone had been shot.

Chesapeake Police say officers contacted the victim at a nearby residence. A juvenile male was taken to the area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

CPD believes the second shooting occurred in the 2400 block of Chesapeake Square Ring Road. No other details are available at this time.
