Charlotte, North Carolina – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have announced the arrest of a suspect in connection to the death of 33-year-old Diondre Bittle.

Around 9:15 p.m. on December 30, CMPD officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon in the 8200 block of Dave McKinney Avenue. At the scene, officers found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Medic pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. The victim was later identified as 33-year-old Diondre Bittle.

On January 3, 2025, CMPD announced the arrest of 35-year-old Sabrina Nayeele Roth. Roth was booked on charges of Murder, Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, and Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery.
