Update – OPP has provided an update on this incident. Authorities say that members of Caledon OPP Major Crime Unit located and arrested a suspect in connection to the assault on November 28, 2024.

Police also say an arrest warrant is being sought for a second suspect. The second suspect has been identified but not located at this time. Police are still working to identify a third suspect.

Original – Ontario Provincial Police say they are looking for the individuals who assaulted a Town of Caledon Municipal Law Enforcement Officer.

According to OPP, Caledon OPP officers responded to an assault on Fallview Circle in the community of Southfields Village around 2 a.m. on November 24, 2024.

OPP says a Town of Caledon Municipal Law Enforcement officer was assaulted by a group of individuals.

The officer was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were determined to be minor. OPP confirms the investigation is ongoing with assistance from the Caledon OPP Major Crime Unit.
