The Brookshire Police Department is currently searching for 17-year-old Eric Anthone Watts in connection to the murder of Juan Carlos Rodriguez Jr.. the incident happened in the 4400 block of 5th Street in Brookshire, Texas on August 30, 2024.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired at the Willow Springs apartments. At the scene, officers found 18-year-old Rodriguez in the parking lot deceased from injuries consistent with a shooting.

Detectives say they were able to identify the suspects as Justin Anthony and Eric Anthone Watts. Authorities carried out an arrest warrant in the 500 block of Solomon Lane on September 5, 2024.

17-year-old Justin Anthony was taken into custody without incident. He is currently being held in the Waller County Jail for murder. 17-year-old Eric Anthone Watts is still wanted in the case.
