Bixby, Oklahoma – The Bixby Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in connection to an overdose death on June 6, 2024.

According to a BPD statement, the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force and the Sandy Springs Police Department arrested Kurt Grant at his Sand Springs residence on January 13, 2025.

Police say Grant had an outstanding warrant in Tulsa County for methamphetamine trafficking and DUI-drugs. He was also wanted on a Tulsa County warrant for felony murder in connection to an overdose death in Bixby.

BPD says its officers responded to an apartment in Bixby where they found the body of a deceased 20-year-old female on June 6, 2024.

Authorities allege that the victim had ingested narcotics purchased from Kurt Grant earlier.
