Birmingham, Alabama – The Birmingham Police Department is currently investigating the fatal shooting of a pizza delivery driver in the 400 block of Roebuck Avenue.

According to officials, East Precinct officers responded to a report of shots fired just before 9 p.m. in the 400 block of Roebuck Drive. A second call reported that an individual had been shot.

An adult male was found lying unresponsive on a private roadway suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Officials say the victim was a pizza delivery driver. It is believed the victim was in the process of making a delivery when he was fatally shot. No one is in custody at this time.
