On November 15, 2023, BPD patrol officers heard gunfire while patrolling in the 2000 block of West Pratt Street at around 9:39 p.m. A canvas of the area turned up three male gunshot victims.

Officers administered life-saving measures before paramedics arrived at the scene. The 26- and 27-year-old victims were taken to an area hospital, where they were listed in stable condition. The 20-year-old male was listed in critical condition.

A fourth victim arrived at the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
