Baltimore County Police investigating mass shooting with nine hurt and one dead

Baltimore County, Maryland – The Baltimore County Police Department is currently investigating a mass shooting that impacted at least nine people.

According to BCPD, nine people have been transported to an area hospital and one person is deceased.

BCPD says officers responded to the scene following reports in the 8500 block of Loch Raven Boulevard of a shooting around 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Police confirm this is considered a mass shooting.

Update – Baltimore County Police say officers from the Towson Precinct responded to the 8500 block of Loch Raven Boulevard around 7:15 p.m. following multiple reports of shots fired.

According to BCPD, officers found ten individuals suffering from injuries. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound.

Police say nine victims were transported to area trauma centers and most of those victims suffered gunshot wounds.

BCPD believes the individuals involved knew one another. Police have not provided any suspect information at this time. It is also unclear what led up to the shooting.

Update – BCPD says it is believed that all of the known victims were traveling together in the vehicle that crashed at the scene of the shooting on Tuesday. One victim has been released from the hospital.

The deceased victim has been identified as 26-year-old Charles Graham Jr. BCPD says a 27-year-old male, two 18-year-old males, a 17-year-old male, a 16-year-old male, a 14-year-old male, and a 17-year-old female suffered gunshot wounds.

A 24-year-old male was injured.
