According to a press release from Anne Arundel County Police, a victim was shot early Tuesday morning. Around 6:30 AM on November 28, 2023, officers responded to the 700 block of Annapolis Road in Gambrills in reference to a shooting. Authorities say the victim reported he was behind a black Kia Optima while exiting the Wawa parking lot.

The victim yelled for the other driver to move on before both drove onto Annapolis Road. The Kia reportedly pulled next to the victim and shot at his vehicle as they turned onto Route 3. Police say the suspect drove northbound towards I-97. Although the victim was uninjured, the victim’s vehicle sustained damage.

According to the Anne Arundel County Police, the Kia Optima was occupied by two black males. Western District detectives are investigating the incident.
