Warren County, Kentucky – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office has announced an arrest in the death of Michael Scott Lee on December 22, 2024.

WCSO says a passing motorist called the Sheriff’s Office to report a wrecked vehicle that had struck a utility pole.

Police say the occupant, Michael Scott Lee, had died from injuries not consistent with the damaged vehicle. Detectives say Lee was planning to meet an unknown individual around 10 p.m. on December 21.

On December 23, detectives received a tip that implicated Ali Fadil. WCSO says detectives and FBI analysts obtained information that substantiated Fadil’s involvement in the death of Lee.

On January 2, 2025, Fadil was arrested for the murder of Michael Scott Lee.
